Rooted in Vienna’s centuries-old choral tradition, the Vienna Girls Choir offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience one of Europe’s most distinguished musical lineages through fresh, angelic voices. Trained alongside the Vienna Boys Choir, the Vienna Girls Choir showcase a distinct voice and vision all of their own in their performance at GLAZER HALL.

Founded in 2004, the Vienna Girls Choir ensemble has flourished into a full-fledged choir of 26 girls between the ages of 10 and 14. Capturing international attention in 2023, the Vienna Girls Choir received the Austrian Musical Theatre Prize and, together with the Vienna Boys Choir, the European Cultural Award in 2024 at the Luxembourg Philharmonic Hall.

In 2027, the Vienna Girls Choir will embark on their first ever North American tour. Recent highlights include a New Year’s Eve concert at the Brucknerhaus in Linz, an emotional performance of Arthur Honegger’s Jeanne d’Arc au bûcher at the Vienna Musikverein with Academy Award-winning actress Marion Cotillard, and performances at the Vienna Konzerthaus in Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana.
