About

Academy Award® nominee Chazz Palminteri brings his legendary one-man play, A Bronx Tale, to GLAZER HALL for a night of unforgettable storytelling. Before it became a critically acclaimed film directed by Robert De Niro, it was Palminteri alone on stage — captivating audiences with the raw, personal story that launched his career and has since become an American classic.

First performed in Los Angeles in 1989, A Bronx Tale famously drew Hollywood’s biggest directors and producers, all eager to buy the rights. Palminteri turned them all down, determined to tell the story himself. That decision led to one of the most iconic collaborations in film history with Robert De Niro, and the rest is legend.

On stage, Palminteri inhabits 18 characters — from the tough-talking mob boss Sonny to the hardworking bus driver Lorenzo, and everyone in between. With humor, pathos, and authenticity, he takes audiences deep into the Bronx neighborhood of his youth, where a young man must choose between the life he sees on the streets and the values he learns at home.

Palminteri has performed the play more than 1,000 times to sold-out crowds across the country. Now, audiences at GLAZER HALL have the rare opportunity to see this masterful performance live, from the man who lived the story and turned it into a cultural landmark.
