Focus: History Grades: 5–8

This inspiring one-woman performance brings to life the story of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Written by award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes, the play traces her battle against gender discrimination, her unwavering fight for women’s rights, and her historic ascent to the nation’s highest court. Middle school students will be introduced to Justice Ginsburg’s strength, resilience, and compassion, experiencing her journey from a determined young woman facing adversity to an enduring icon of equality.

The Laura Sachs Family Foundation Arts in Education Series at GLAZER HALL opens the doors of the performing arts to students of all backgrounds through a full roster of one-hour, curriculum-connected performances. We believe the arts are essential in fostering a lifelong love of learning—cultivating curiosity, enhancing critical thinking, and promoting adaptability. In collaboration with local educators, our programming is thoughtfully aligned with school curricula and reading lists, introducing students—many for the very first time—to a rich and diverse range of performing arts experiences.
